Mrs Gu, the wife of the disgraced politician Bo Xilai, is accused with Zhang Xiaojun, an aide, of poisoning 41-year-old Mr Heywood in November last year after falling out with him over money. She is also said to have been motivated by concerns over her son’s safety.
